    GPS antennas

Is there a distance requirement between GPS antennas? If so how far apart should they be.

    Thanks.

There are shading and multipath issues to be concerned with but six inches should do it.

If you are using active antennas then there is the potential for electromagnetic interference between the two antennas.

if you really needed to put the two antennas in close proximity, I would try and see if they interfered with each other before you permanently mounted them.

Assumming you you had one system already installed, I would go to that systems satellite in view and signal to noise (C/N) page and see what the values were with system two off. With system two's antenna temporality mounted in its intended position, I would turn on system two and see if you had any changes in systems one's C/Ns. If yes, you probably need more antenna separation.
