Late to the party, but I've owned my 2008 AMD built 601XLi-B Zodiac SLSA since mid-2016 and absolutely love the way it flies; it handles like a Mazda Miata compared to my C-172 which handled like a Chevy sedan. After I purchased the Zodiac, I worked through a DAR to convert it to experimental and then took the 16-hour light sport repairman - inspection class and got my FAA LSR-I certificate so I can perform my own condition inspections.

It's fun and economical to operate.
