    Not sure what STC was used to convert the plane, but Univair STC recommends a Mc Cauley 1A200-FA8242 prop with alternate pitches of 43 and 44 inches. if not Univair conversion, look at STC paperwork for other options.

    If you have a diaphragm fuel pump it could have a bad diaphragm and allow oil to enter the fuel which would be burned up and not noticed. I have heard of that happening on a Grumman Cheetah before.
    Also if your ring lands on your pistons are worn you could be passing some oil there as well. You could try a set of cast rings instead of Chrome Moly, you might get a better break-in with a softer ring just remember No Chrome rings in a Chrome Cylinder, you can use cast rings in any type cyl.

    Run it at %75 power and see if it reduces oil consumption.
