Hi all, The Ulster Aviation Society have a opportunity to buy a Phantom to add to our growing collection.
The aircraft is ex RAF, and has been a gate guardian for the past number of years. The engines have been removed, but we have to move it by road and ferry which means parting the fuselage from the wing box.
I have a fair idea of how daunting a task this will be, but we are determined to get this great aircraft back to Northern Ireland were it first touched down from the USA. Anyone know we're we might get some detailed instruction or procedure on this? Thanks. Jim.
