For as long as it took AirVenture to get here, it was over in a flash. I can't believe that almost a week has gone since it was here.
Already looking forward to next year!

I must say that even though I love AirVenture. Now that I have completed my Sonex and am in phase 1 testing with it I am happy to get the airport back to normal use so I can burn some avgas!
That just means 50 weeks to go!
I miss it too! Looking forward to next year, also looking forward to reading the books I bought this year!
Heard around the exhibition hangars on Saturday about 15:00:
"I'm glad I came; I can't wait to go home; I can't wait for next year! And, will I see you at Sun-'n-Fun?"
Anxiety is nature's way of telling you that you've already goofed up.

This years' OSH certainly had special meaning to me. As Paul always said EAA isn't just about airplanes, it's about people. There are some Oshkosh people that are extremely special to me.
