Official AirVenture 2014 Warbird Photo Thread

Let's see some of your Warbird photos from AV2014. I'll start. All taken with my iPhone (my Canon 60D mirror came loose shortly before AirVenture started).

Here's one of many I took. I rather enjoyed the Vietnam-era Warbirds show...that was something different for a change.

Also from my iPhone. I haven't downloaded the Canon yet.

What model Spitfire is that? I am guessing XV but that is just a guess.

    Really nice pics everyone.

Zack, the b&w of the skyraiders is outstanding! That's a pic in search of a blow-up and frame.

Zack, I neglected to mention that I am completely blown away by the quality photos you got from an iPhone.

I'd guess it's a Mk 21 or 24 given the bubble canopy and 5-blade prop. There are so few that I'm sure Google could tell.

EDIT: I was wrong, it's Rudy Frasca's Spitfire Mk XVIII E.

Aha! A friend of mine and I were aging over it last week. I thought it was a XXII, he thought a XV. Since he is more up on British things I deferred to him. Thanks.
