​For the sixth consecutive year during EAA’s AirVenture, the UW Oshkosh Business Success Center is organizing AeroInnovate presented by Venture Best™, which highlights new technologies, entrepreneurs, emerging companies, and investment trends.

The evening will include a panel of seasoned investors including Jim McCoy, Matt Johnson, and others for an open, facilitated discussion by Amir Blachman of the Space Angels Network. The Investors Only Roundtable, held from 5:30-6:45 p.m. at the Wittman Regional Airport (525 W. 20th Avenue, Oshkosh), will provide an opportunity for current and interested investors in the aviation/aerospace industry to discuss experiences, challenges, and opportunities. There will be representation from all types of investors including angels, venture capital, OEMs, and other partners.

The Pitch & Mingle event, which will be held from 7-10 p.m. at the Wittman Regional Airport (525 W. 20th Avenue, Oshkosh), will provide an opportunity for the most serious aero-entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and potential investors to “mingle” and entrepreneurs chosen from a list of applicants will “pitch” their businesses.


Among the pitching companies will be Alteg Systems, Mishaal Aerospace, Raptor, Semaphore Scientific, and Thorntail Aircraft Company. The Pitch & Mingle will be emceed by industry leader Gretchen Jahn.


There is a cost to attend the Pitch & Mingle and Investors Only Roundtable Dinner, which are $40 each or $75 for both events. Reservations are required as space is limited.
