I am trying to build a simple strait forward trike to fly on nice days. I already have chosen to purchase a Northwing wing for it. and had purchased plans for the frame but after consulting my local EAA adviser he pointed out some serious safety concerns with the construction technics and materials used. So after many hours of research it's back to the drawing board. Has anyone out there built a simple strait-forward trike lower frame? I need a 2 place due to my weight and size- I hope to use a Rotax 503 for the powerplant, but may be forced to use an old Kawasaki 440. I am medically retired with kids in college so everything has to be as inexpensive as possible.
