Help Identifying Home Built Aircraft - Pictures Posted

Recently I inherited an airplane from a distant relative who was a retired TWA A&P Mechanic and avid builder and pilot of home built airplanes. I know this is one of the last planes he built for himself, it was completed 5 years ago and was flown on a couple of occasions at that time. The engine was pulled after the last flight and it was placed in a storage and transport trailer that he built specifically for the plane.

Can you give me any help in identifying if he built it from a kit, what the name of the plans might be, or if it looks like something that was built from scratch?

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, or if you can point me in the direction of someone who could help.

Many thanks for your time, I have attached some pic's of the plane I took recently when it was outside of the trailer.

    Regards,

    J
