    Riding in and Camping

For all you experienced OshKoshers, I'm curious - are there many campers that arrive on motorcycle? Do they tend to congregate in any particular area? I'm planning to make the trip on my Harley and this will be my first time. Looking forward to it.

    Thanks.

Last year there were three bikers (I was towing my camper behind my truck) next to me in Camp Scholler. We became good friends and talked (and drank) many nights together. Motorcycle's tend to take less room for their camp site and can fit in places that others can't. I don't notice them congregate in any one area, but there are quite a few there. The nice thing about having a motorcycle is you can ride real close to the gate and have a place to park. Us four wheel drivers cant do that.

Let me be the first to say, "Welcome to Oshkosh" you'll enjoy your stay

Agreed. The bikers have more freedom of movement, more space and better chances for good spot, close to all the fun.
