    And another RV7 flys

Took my friend's RV 7 N177NR up for the first time on Friday May 23. Brief flight as I only got 30mph on the airspeed indicator so I just went around the pattern and landed. Flew it for around an hour on the 25th and everything worked really well. Strong engine with no cooling problems so it should be a good one. Don

Congrats to you and your friend, what a great feeling. And you have a great transition trainer up by you, Chris Droege, would recommend him highly to the owner.

This is the 8th RV I've test flown and will transition the owner. I've been flying RVs since 1991 and have flown all the models except the 12. Great airplanes. Don

    Woohoo!

And, as I've said before, it's not another RV, it's your RV, unique in its own right. Or, rather, his.

On the low airspeed, how did indicated versus another method (say, GPS ground track) differ? It may be too early for that in the testing period, though.
