    Yep, I described a skid, but that's not the problem, it's the roll that comes with it that's the killer. The skid doesn't last long, as the roll is corrected by opposite aileron and...

    Inuss, there's a difference between leading the turn slightly with the rudder (Champs and Cubs) and using the rudder by itself.

    Leading the turn with the rudder is not inducing the turn with yaw, it's just a recognition that the rudder has a little slower response than the ailerons in that aircraft.
