R/C version of your full-size airplane

While browsing old photographs, I came across this image of my father's R/C airplane. It dates to the very early '80s I believe.
I'd say it's a good match to the family Mooney I still fly today.

Has anyone else built a remote control version of their aircraft? I would love to see pictures!

I've seen some J3 Cubs as RC's at a local RC club and a really nice Extra 300 "Giant" with an owner who has the "right stuff" (tail slides!).

I used a 1991 Precision Model Products Killer Vee kit to model after my Waiex. Not a close reproduction but it works for me...

One of our Chapter members scratch-built a Spacewalker the same time an R/C friend of his was building a new model. He duplicated it down to an exact copy of it.

Here is my Globe Swift(s). I haven't installed the electric motor/prop/speed control yet hence no spinner. Also, the gear doors aren't done.
