10-10-22, that is 10 years, 10 months and 22 days since receiving my first kit shipment to getting my airworthiness certificate. The aircraft had it's first flight on October 4th. Special thanks to my family for putting up with me. Also thanks to my long time friend Roger Evenson for helping me buck thousands of rivets. To EAA Tech Counselor Gil Alexander for helping me get started and special thanks to Chris Sands who helped me get finished. Also to Chris Droege for great transition training. The plan was for Chris Sands to do the first flight since he is an experienced RV builder and flyer. He did so and the plane flew so nice I jumped in after and did my first flight. The plane weighed in at 1062 pounds and is powered by a O-360 and a Catto 3 blade prop. The panel is a GRT EFIS and EIS, with Garmin Audio panel, dual SL-40's and transponder. Also a Tru-Track auto pilot. Behind the panel is a a Nav-Works ADS/B and Vertical Power unit.
