New here with a question about plane type

Hello! I am new to the forum, and joined to find out what kind of plane this is, and in which years it was build? I found it in a developed stack of daguerreotype plate glass photos. Any idea? Your input is much appreciated.

    Welcome to EAA Forums!

I'm thinking pretty strongly that it's a Junkers F.13 - the shape of the door, the unusual cross piece in the forward-most window, the large dorsal-fin vertical stabilizer, etc.

The best pictures I've found online are of models, but here's a couple of the real thing - see what you think:

    And a couple of models:

Oh, and the F.13 first flew in 1919 (and it was remarkably advanced for that period), and, according to Wikipedia, was in production until 1932.

It could stand in for "The Phoenix II " if you don't install the decals

Good point! I love that movie, but it's tough to watch, knowing that it meant the end of Paul Mantz.
