I know all the planes that are brought in to the big convention are privately owned, but EAA is promoting their appearance in press releases. A couple years ago, on Saturday I was approached by someone who saw me wearing my semi-official looking credentials, and complained that the plane that his family came to see (on the program cover) had left on Friday. (No refunds) They said the were leaving after 20 minutes on-site.
The dates for specific show performers is publicized. If a particular aircraft being featured in a press release won't be there the full week, can the expected dates the plane will be on site also be made known? I'm writing about items like the Lockheed Vega, or the planes from the Great War Flying Museum, not the more common aircraft. There's always some circumstances that may require a subject to change disclaimer such as weather, but in this case it was a planned departure.
