    Come rain or thunder - My 4th of July

    It looks like rain today in Ohio for the 4th of July. I hope that we (the Urbana Rotary Club) can still sell 2,000 chicken meals at Grimes Field (I74) today and that the fireworks can still be held tonight at the airport. If not, my display is always on for the 4th.

    Because of the likely hood of the heavy rains putting out the chicken cooking fires, both the barbeque and the fireworks have been canceled. It’s a good decision because we are experiencing a lot of rain and more coming for later in the day. We’ll try again another day.
