    Question Fuselage ID help needed

Recently I visited a gentleman who is planning on donating a historic military vehicle to Military Veterans Museum and Education Center. While there I noticed this camper sitting at the end of a line of trucks and trailers.

The gentleman said it was built in Florida and brought up here around 1968-1969 and has stayed in northern Wisconsin ever since. Many people have guessed at what this fuselage is from but no one has been able to positively ID it. Could you be the first?

    Thanks for looking!

Gunnery trainer version of Beech C-45/AT-11.

That's what I thought at first, but the cockpit windows don't seem to match quite right. Maybe it's just how I'm looking at it though. They could have added some sheet metal.

Whatever it is, it sure is interesting! Welcome to the EAA forums Robert! Can you tell everyone a bit about what Military Veterans Museum and Education Center is all about and what your hours will be during AirVenture? I'm guessing quite a few people would be interested in visiting. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure Jim is right. C-45/AT-11. Looks like the side cockpit window (door end of the trailer, under that small square window, where the side curves into the roof) has been sheeted over.

By the way... Needs work, but that would make a great camping RV for Oshkosh. where in northern WI did you say it was?

AT-11 seems to match it nearly perfectly. Check out this pic...
