GW is just 2 days away - one for me as tomorrow is set up day.
This year appears to be HOT - the 112 for Sat has been dialed down to 103 - a bit of relief but all days in the 100 degree range.
Sequestration even gets to this little fly in. No tower, no NOTAM brochure. There will be a flight advisory service.
Beal AFB was to celebrate their 100 anniversary at GW with a good display and AC. No fly bys scheduled
We are expecting to need the KidQuest hangar to be an overflow cooling area and we are prepping for that. CAP is not here this year either and the usual parking and flightline support will not be there. (unknown reason for no CAP this year (yet)).
