One can become famous in a very tiny way by making the NTSB database.
It's also a good way to wind up as a data source for my research. I always tell people: the last place I want to see a fellow pilot's name is in my file cabinet.

However, experimental has a corrolary - Prudence - that has its own merits.
    Well said.

I can only say that there are so many elements of the Jabiru design that no ME would ever pass as acceptable that had I know of any of them, I would have never used the engine.
That is pretty strong. What exactly do you consider to be unacceptable in the Jabiru 3300 design? Does the 2200 share the same design issues?
