Planning the Epic cross country

Hi Joe,
Sounds like quite an adventure behind a 503. That's a great engine. I flew my Drifter to Monument Valley Last weekend, and I'll continue to stretch her legs as much as possible in preparation for the Oshkosh trip.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it...Thats definitely the type of info I'm fishing for here. Also, thanks for the comments on the site....I'm currently using a Nikon D7000, but hope to upgrade to a D800 soon enough.

Still planning to do the trip, but I may not leave KFMN until the 28th or 29th, so I'll catch the last few days of airventure, assuming the trip takes 3 days.

The drifter is all ready to go, and I'm getting excited. Hoping these frequent isolated thunderstorms around here will let up.

I am leaving for Osh (car) tomorrow morning. I probably will be leaving Osh Friday morning for home but I will watch for you (and say hi). I will be hanging around the UL strip, so I should see you.
