    Replica accident in Australia

    Very sad news from Australia, about the fatal crash of an 80% scale kit built MK 26 Spitfire as the pilot and builder Roger Stokes was returning to land, and went down short of the airfield.

    There are some other points mentioned, but not definite so I will not include them.

    I didn't personally know him, but it feels like losing a friend, again.

    I looked up some of the articles and saw some of the pictures of the plane. Very sad to lose what sounds like a very accomplished pilot and a beautiful plane.
