    Big Grin question about box

    Hi to All

    i have a question about the cross box figures.
    i have difficulties to understand the sense of turn reading the aresti
    wanna be more precise look at intermediate2013 figure4 the sense of turn to stay in the box is left turn?
    u know an easy way to look il faster

    Good morning,

    When you transition from the box X-axis to the box Y-axis in a figure, for example 2013 IAC Intermediate Known Program figure 3, you can go either way. You can go away from the judges or towards the judges. You make that choice depending on the wind and whether you believe that you will look better right in front of the judges or somewhat away from the judges.

    When you fly a figure that starts on the box Y-axis and then exits back on the box X-axis, you MUST fly the figure to exit in the direction shown on the flight program form (Form B or C) that you are flying. So in the 2013 Intermediate Known Program, if you are flying the "B" form, figure 4 must be exited flying towards the judges left, or downwind.
