I'm using both the Wag Aero Cuby (now Sport Trainer) and Northland Super Cub plans. Mostly the Northland plans but the Wag Aero ones often show detail that is easier to understand. Making a few changes like doors on both sides but it is basically going to be a homebuilt Super Cub.
Sonex flight testing complete. Building a Super Cub clone, check it out at www.facebook.com/piratecub

I'm building a Zenith CH650 TD. All the flying surfaces are done and am working on the fuselage. I'm planning to use the Viking engine.

Earlier this year I started a full size Airdrome Aeroplanes Nieuport 17. I spent two days at the House of Pain and brought home the framed up fuselage, rudder, stab and elevators.

Unlike Frank and his AA N 11, I am making several upgrades including tail gear, main gear, wing sweep, wing thickness, etc. Unfortunately, work and family committments have kept me from doing much since. The backyard engineering for the upgrades have consumed what little time I have worked on it. Here are a couple of photos.

Building a Pietenpol Aircamper and have been doing so for the past 20 years off and on. The fuselage, wings, and empennage are all done and we are remaking the landing gear to move the main wheels further forward. We have the Model A Ford engine for it and it has the good crankshaft, but still needs to be modified and assembled. I spend too much time taking care of other peoples airplanes to work on my own.
