Pilot Bill of Rights Law affects medical certification
Starting today a new form has to be signed when doing your FAA medical. In response to the Pilot's Bill of Rights law which was sponsored by Sen. Inhofe and signed by President Obama there is a Written Notification form that must be signed by the applicant. If it is not signed the Aviation Medical Examiner cannot issue the certificate. This is a temporary fix and the FAA intends to include this notification in the online medical application MedXPress. Greg Pinnell, MD EAA Aeromedical Advisory Council
