Montgomery wing framing

The left wing half framed 12 ft. the bottom photo shows the right wing half 12 ft. To frame the wing I used Ash cut into 3/8 th strips 1/8 thick and laminated with 3 strips. The wing spars were Sitka Spruce 1 inch 1/8 X 5/8th and 12 ft long. I used waxed linen cord for the lashing. The wing rib has a 41 inch chord with a 1/12 camber. The skin was 200 thread count 100% cotton muslin. The skin was not attached to the frame yet, just checking the fit. Each rib pocket will be sewn to the main skin.
