Did you land there yesterday? I heard someone going in while I was coming in to KESC.

Did you know there was a King of Beaver Island once upon a time? The museum is well worth a visit. If you see Paul Welke, say hi from us. We share a mutual friend in the shape of one George Cormack, Islander/Trislander guru.

    Have a safe trip home!

If you have the time, you may want to swing by KTVC.

It's where I grew up and got my license at. Easy going Class D airspace.

Looks like a very cool stop after the hustle of Airventure.

Ed, if there's a better "ambassador for helicopters" out there, I haven't heard of them...! These are beautiful photos that speak volumes to what I always thought helicopter flying was all about. That's quite the magic carpet you've got there.

Thanks for sharing. I wanted to visit the Michigan U.P. and stop at Beaver Island on my way to KOSH but weather prevented it.

    Maybe next year...
