    Lenticular clouds

    A friend of mine emailed these pictures of some standing lenticular clouds. We definiatley do not see these in the midwest! (Click on a picture to enlarge)

    Here's one I took a couple of years back....from my home office's window (eat yer hearts out). Obviously the same day as the first photo above. This is Mount Rainier, south of Seattle.
