alternate route from south to UW Oshkosh campus?

My first time to OSH, and we're driving up. Looking at the traffic maps that were just released, would I be better off just getting over to 45 along the lake and avoid most of this, or will I be able to get through the intersection at w. 20 and South Park Ave.?

You can either follow 45 up the lake or stay on US41 and take it to WITZZEL or OMRO Street. That's pretty much how I get downtown during the EAA.

I'd go up 41 & follow the signs.
