    make your parking boards

its very dry at Oshkosh now--but if it rains--can be hell getting your bird out of its parking spot if the tires sink into the ground--picture below is a parking board that a homebuilder can easily make--3/4 inch plywood 10x18 with a bevel on one end.

I think mine are 1/2" or 3/8" - no bevel. They end up slightly banana shaped at the end of the week, but they do make the airplane easy to move.

This could be a good project for the composite guys - design and build a really light, neato set of parking boards...

1/8 inch diamond plate 10 x 18--note that the wheel block has holes in it so you can hold it down with tent stakes

    Kevin,

Here did you find that 10x18 diamond plate? Everywhere I call will only sell it in 4'x8' sheets ( for $180.00) and they won't cut them....

I know you can get some smaller pieces of diamond plating at Lowes and Home Depot.
