Have a perplexing VG issue. I have been testing VGs on my Kitfox 7. I have posted my tests on the Kitfox forums but am throwing it out here.Here are my findings:At 4" back from LE.Clean stall reduced by 2mphFull flaperon stall not changed.15mph loss of top speed. Stalls became sudden and nose breaks and falls much more.At 7" back from LE:Clean stall INCREASED by 3mph.Aircraft became pitch sensitive at higher speed.Top speed down by about 13mph.Aerodynamically, what are these behaviors saying about the VG positions?My positions were based on manufacturer guidelines and experience of other KF flyers.Regarding my CG, it is within range and a slight bit toward the nose heavy end of the range.Opinions?!
