Beacon at Fisk

Did anyone see the beacon at Fisk?

I was looking for it, but never saw it.

Yeah, first it was way off to the left side of the tracks and quite feeble. In the old days, they had things like FOUR of the rabbit light strobes from an approach lighting system mounted side by side (that one was impossible to miss). In other years they flew a balloon (I guess some might have mistaken that for the Beer tent).

At least the FAA finally put the various NOTAM fixes (Ripon, Fisk, Warbird Island) in as official intersections. I noticed RIPON popping up this year on my GPS next to my hand entered user waypoint I had placed there several years ago.
