I met and interviewed Robert Hays for the Timeless Voices of Aviation oral history program. Super friendly (and FUNNY) guy and a gentleman in all respects.

Well not counting the perennial performers/exhibitors like Rod Machado, John and Martha King, Sean D. Tucker, etc...
Bob Hoover, Chesley Sullenberger, Cliff Robertson, Gene Cernan, Brent Blue, Barron Hilton, Carroll Shelby, Jack Daley, Dorothy Cochrane, Kevin Kochersberger
I did see Robert Hays being interviewed by the airshow announcer (over macho grande line).

Zack, a friend of mine flew out on the plane with Robert Hays from California. She got one of those inflatable dolls like in the movie Airplane and had it in the plane when he came on. He got a laugh out if and posed for photos with the doll. By the way, it was a fancy plane, but they didn't have any deviled eggs or brownies or cake!
Thanks
I met Burt Rutan and his wife....absolutely wonderful folks whom I can't say enough nice things about. I also met Bob Hoover, Bud Anderson, Jack Roush, a couple of the WASP, and Capt. Sullenberger.

In my brief one-day visit I was able to see Bob Hoover, Rod Machado, Sully and Jeff, Ariel Tweto, and (non-aviation) George Lucas. Not too bad - only at Oshkosh, right?

A mile of road will take you a mile, but a mile of runway will take you anywhere.
This is the one time I didn't see anyone famous!! In years past I've seen the normal: Gary Sinise and Harrison Ford. I saw Jeff Dunham the first year he came. That's about it.
I've not met Sinise, but I have met the real TK Mattingly.
