    Heinkel He 115 recovered in Norway on Saturday

    An ultra rare Heinkel He 115 was pulled from a fjord in Norway on Saturday June 3. Here is what an He 115 looks like:

    The effort was led by the Sola Flymuseum in Norway. Job well done!

    Very nice. I love old military seaplanes so it's nice to see one recovered so more people can develop the same addic....er, affinity.

    If you happen to come across the TV series "Wings of the Luftwaffe" on the Military Channel, there is an excellent episode on German seaplanes and flying boats, good segment on the He115. Whole series well worth watching.
