Launch 200 Cubs to Oshkosh in 30 minutes

Testing to see if 200 Cubs can be launched for Oshkosh in ½ hour.

I wish you guys luck, but it seems like you're counting on a LOT of pilots to be paying attention. 9 second interval takeoffs are hard to manage when every 5th (or whatever) pilot dawdles for an extra 5 seconds.

If 200 Cubs can’t be launched in 30 minutes, so be it. I want fewer slow Cubs on the Fisk approach and more flying in the mass launch now limited to 75 Cubs.

If Cubs start leaving Hartford at 5:30 A.M. and quit by 6 A.M., they will have a 15 minute cushion plus flight time to all be on the ground before 7 A.M., the Fisk approach start time.

Here's the question in my mind, where the heck are they parking all these Cubs?
Unfortunately in science what you believe is irrelevant.

Yes, if we left from Hartford, Connecticut as was stated in a local paper, the timing for the arrival at Oshkosh might be off a day or two.

Steveinindy , haven’t you heard of that Sea of Yellow that the EAA has been talking about for months?

The mid-airs in Florida in March and then again yesterday in Virginia are on my mind.

Let's all be safe up there!
