Is iPad and iPhone software the same? I post with my iPhone all the time...

Both run off iOS, Apple's operating system for mobile devices. There are different versions of that iOS of course, as Apple continually upgrades. Current version is 4.3.5, I believe (or something close to that). I'm still on ver. 4.3.3 on both my iPhone and iPad.
As for apps, iPhone and iPad do have apps that are different in some cases. In other words, there is an iPhone version of a particular app, as well as a slightly different version of that same app for the iPad. Safari however, would be the same app for both iPhone and iPad.

That's what I thought...I'm running 4.3.4 now, no issues except emoticons.
