Is there a plan for testing the audio over the Airshow video before the event? Reason I ask is, I'm unable to get EAA Radio to work directly, and I'd like to make sure some of my friends and associates will be able to watch _and hear_ the airshow when it's broadcast. Thanks.

    Mike:

If you are still having issues getting EAA Radio to stream, I can help try to help you out. Obviously, there is little I can do to help you at work, as firewalls and other security measures could be at play, but at home I'm sure we can "get it working for you". You can email me directly at codetalker@eaaradio.net

    Thanks!

yeah, for Streaming Media its a 100% new system from the encoders all the way to the server and server software. With the unique set of cirumstances we have to work with its likely that the first tests with audio would be from the Theater in the Woods feed hopefully a week out from the show. Audio on the airshow encoder can't be tested until EAA radio is live and we have access to the tower to install our gear. Hopefully that will be a day or two before the official start of the show.

I do plan on opening up a beta stream as soon as we can to try test the final config and to load test the server a bit. I will post back here when that happens.

Yes, indeed, you do have a "unique set of circumstances." Thanks, and good luck.

hey guys, first post updated with another test link if you would be so kind as to check it out for me and report as last time, that would help big time. This time, no turkeys, or paint drying...its actually installed on the airport grounds.

    Ha!
yeah they lay the wayfinding towers down when its not show time. but it makes it a hell of a lot easier to work on the top of the tower. they should be upright shortly, and the cameras available shortly thereafter.
