    MINI MILITARY REPLICA STORCH Fi156C

Recently completed repainting one of few (U.S.) Flying OOP Colombian Made Criquet Aviation Mini Storch's. I got it out of Annual last Nov. and worked out all of the Flying Bugs With Great Help from Steve Lund who completed the only production Kit Criquet Storch in the U.S. featured in a Sport Aviation July 2010 article in comparison with Kermit Weeks Full Size aircraft.

The Scheme is patterned off of a Wurstennot 1 Desert Utility Squadron Storch based in Libya in 1941, Piloted by Hauptmann Kroseberg which was photographed touring Rommel. SF+RL in Authentic German Airforce Desert Colors/Aircraft Paints from Kiroff Farben Technik outside Cologne Germany.

Schedule permitting I will have it on Static Display at a couple of Local AirShows first weekend of October in Vero Beach FL and First Weekend in November in Stuart FL.

    Yours Mike

Congratulations ! That looks awesome. I saw one of the other Criquet Aviation replicas here at mu home airport in California, and it was stunningly accurate. Someone should really get that kit back into production.

Yes that is my 'Storch Mentor & Guru' Steve Lund's gorgeous Only Home Built Criquet Flying in the U.S. the Original so to speak which was featured in Sport Aviation's July 2010 issue. It was with his great help that we were able to address and correct a mirid of issues which required attention. The most major of which replacing the Prop with a correct larger diameter, adjusting the Main landing gear to correct a major Toe-In and installing all Important Tail Wheel Steering cables/system. WIth his help, guidance and advice it is flying great today.
