    Sonex aeroinjector setup

Has anybody installed a Sonex Aeroinjector ffrom their last batch? They were backordered for several momths. Not much luck following their directions. Poor air/fuel distrubition? Left rear cylinder runs way to hot on ground run &can't get tuned for smooth throttle advance without simultaneously leaning. Jab 2200 engine. Any suggestions? Thanks. Jim.

Check for induction leeks. Slide valve injectors can be a bit fiddly. Everything must be in good order for them to work well.

Have you tried a leaner needle?

    Happy Aeroinjector set up

Thanks for the ideas. I ded the soap bubble check for induction leaks, none. I tried all 4needles, 1, 2,21/2,&3. None give satisfactory results. All are machined very poorly. Lumps on tapered end &notch will not let set screw clear housing!!! China??? Next step is to try various deflectors over the inlet throat to redistribute air/fuel. Worked for some. The induction manifold has a vertical bar in it.
