In the summer of 2013, IAC’s board asked members to revise our club’s governance documents to improve the way the club operates. Members voted overwhelmingly to do so.

However, the updated By-laws contained a clerical mistake that changed the years in which directors are elected. We’re not permitted to “just fix” this; we need membership approval to do that.1

Would you take a minute, please, and help us correct this mistake? Please vote to do so via the online ballot on the IAC website. If you are unable to log in to the website, our webmaster can help; email him for assistance. Or, if you’d prefer to vote the old-fashioned way, you’ll find a ballot card included with your March 2014 issue of Sport Aerobatics.2

Thank you.

Jim Ward,
Secretary

1 The president, secretary and three directors should be elected in even-numbered years, the vice president, treasurer and four directors in odd-numbered years. The “even” and “odd” years were mistakenly swapped.

2 We encourage you to vote via the website. It lowers the burden on IAC volunteers and saves you the 49¢ stamp!
