    Big Cats Over Oshkosh?

I saw a shirt being sold this year that shows the four grumman cats (Wild, Hell, Tiger, Bear) and the F9F. Is there a plan to do a formation flight of them all during one of the airshows?

The design for this shirt was more figurative than literal - I don't think anyone actually has a flying Panther at this point. However, there's already a Tigercat and a Bearcat on the field, and we almost always see a couple of Wildcats and possibly a Hellcat, so you can bet we'll try to get them all in the air together at some point!

Yea, I guess it has been some years since the Cavanaugh F9F last flew. At any rate I firmly believe there will be enough of the propped cats on hand to do a 4-ship Grumman Cats formation. I k
now Kalamazoo was one of the only places to ever pull this off, I would sure love to see it this year in Oshkosh.

Kalamazoo was able to have 6 of the cats do a formation in 93, Wildcat, Hellcat, Bearcat, Tigercat, Panther and Tomcat...That was a great show...and a great formation to perform the missing man with....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GJ_1BYVf-o
