AirVenture Museum looking for painted WWII flight jackets

The EAA AirVenture Museum is currently working on the development of a temporary exhibit about WWII nose art and painted flight jackets. The exhibit will run from May 2012 to May 2013. We have about a half dozen such jackets in our permanent collection that will be used in the exhibit, but we would like to find six or so more for the display. If you have an authentic painted WWII flight jacket (or even better, an authentic painted panel from a WWII aircraft) that you would be willing to loan to the museum for this exhibit, please contact me at zbaughman@eaa.org, or on the phone at 920-426-6839.

    Many thanks!
