    2011 Flight Operations

Every time I fly I put a big "X" on the calandar in the hangar. I added them up yesterday and inspite of the airport being closed for seven weeks for repaving, and the plane 'down' for five weeks for painting, I flew a total of exactly 100 times last year. I hope to make it 150 in 2012. I am 81-years old and have promised anyone who would listen that I will fly that plane on my 100th birthday and then put it up for sale. Wish me luck!

Good luck Wilfred! That's quite an achievement in 2011, and sounds like a excellent idea for 2012!

    Wilfred,
100 is just a number, if you are able to fly on your 100 birthday you may be able to fly the day after as well! Keep on flying as long as your physical abilities allow it, you can sell the airplane anytime.

Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Way to go Wilfred! Wish I had the money to do that. I'd be happy with half that much time, seeing as how I got 0 last year.
