    The Book Hangar

Some of you might be familiar with the "Little Free Library"; outdoor kiosks where books can be taken for free, or excess books added.

Have some leftover posts in front of my house, and always considered putting a Little Free Library on one of them. Being a pilot-type, I couldn't resist making it look like a hangar, complete with a 3-D printed wind sock....

    You can download instructions at:

Overall dimensions don't matter, you can make it deeper, taller, or wider as you need. The dimensions shown allow you to use a stock sheet of 12" wide 22" long 1.5mm plywood for the roof without having to cut it down.
