    Calculating corrected K-Factor G3X Touch

I have a new plane that came with a G3X touch and separate instructions to "Calculate Corrected K-factor" which is designed to improve the accuracy of the fuel totalizer system. I saw in another forum that the need to go into the configuration menus and "calibrate" this has been eliminated and now it is all down in the Fuel Calc. tab of the engine page. Can anyone confirm this? Personally, I prefer to use the "retina scan" and look at my fuel tubes to determine fuel remaining but I also admit to being an inveterate geek who likes to fiddle with such technology no matter how little it really effects my life...sigh.

I used the Fuel Calc tab. Just note the value shown on the fuel pump next time you fill up. Enter it in the "actual fuel used" field on the calc page. Do it for the next 2-3 fill ups to narrow it down. I'm ok with a 0.2 gallon difference between the G3X estimate and reality.
