Eagle Hanger Section closure of EAA Museum??

Is there anyone out there know if the Eagle Hanger Section of The EAA museum is open at all during the Airventure? I know in the past they shut down the whole area for the big benefit dinner and maybe other events. I have a friend who is coming with me and is a serious WWII buff and was bragging about that portion of the museum. It's good for the Benefits events, but bad for what people are missing when that area has NO admittance. Any Comments??

I wouldn't count on it. Last year I was there on the Friday before, and they had already cleared it out, butted everything else up to the mural wall. It's a shame really, I only get to Oshkosh once a year, I'd like to be able to visit my museum.
