    My cousin sent me this a couple of days ago, funny, but wrong a several levels. I'm sure the bloggers on this thread will smile, Santa needs to get IFR qualified!

    Yeah, this was a bad deal. The rumor is Santa's license was pulled under the Emergency Revocation rule. Some of the issues were;
    Inoperative Transponder
    No Transponder / Altitude Encoder check within previous 24 months
    Improper Nav Lighting
    VOR check not complied with
    No Medical
    No Biannual
    No Registration
    No Airworthiness Certificate
    Out of annual & no ferry permit
    ADIZ not complied with
    No ADCUS filed with Customs
    Operating above FL180 without a clearance
    Exceeding 250 knots below 10,000'
    Several States are looking into whether Sales and Use Tax has been paid
    And it appears the egg nog may have been spiked (BAC test results not yet in).

    There is an appeal that's taking place. Something about being "grandfathered in". I'm no lawyer but I think he's right! Give him back his ticket!
