    Jim Katz's stunning Fly Baby, painted just like the prototype. Closest N-Number he could get to the original was N502F (vs. N500F).

    This is my favorite shot of Jim's airplane...taken by a drone, of course. Some people have mistaken this for a model....

    Jim's a long-time RC aircraft builder, and his meticulous attention to detail is obvious on his first full-scale plane. I used a lot of his photos in the Fly Baby construction Companion Guides.

    Yes, I recognized the paint colors and saw the N5... on the fuselage and hustled over there to see the rest of the N number.
