    The Bally Bomber is back

Saw on the EAA Facebook page that the new owner has flown it to AirVenture. There was a pic of it parked next to the Arch.

Ive heard so much about this aircraft over the years! Cant wait to see it in the flesh! I heard it is quite a handful in the air, with an incredibly narrow envelope.

It is indeed a thing of beauty and a joy to behold. I was speaking with the pilot when it was at AirVenture in 2018 and suffice it to say the 4 little Hirth engines are not exactly 'over powering' the bird. But as a one-of-a-kind testimony to a life's work, it is in a class by itself.
