Welcome. Drummond Island sounds like a great place to clear Customs, as great as they can be.
The weather looks excellent the next few days, enjoy.

I've never heard of chiggars in WI, I think it's to cold for them in the off season. It could be some other insects or a reaction to a plant/vine type annoyance.
The next possibility is your...
Just curious, anyone have info on the Monday eve concert attendance numbers? This would be for 'Third Eye Blind'.
It seems there's always a debate over the bands of yesteryear or a newer group...
It may be hard to hear on the Oshkosh freqs if you are on the ground 50 miles South. You may hear the planes mic clicking on FISKE approach.
I'd also try the temporary FLD tower at 120.4, MKE...
I think you will be fine later in the week. Of course check the evening before departure and the morning of.
As mentioned, have your backup plans.
I went to FLD, the bus worked fine. I was hoping to get into OSH for just day parking. I guess it's better than getting stuck in the mud at OSH?
The WX was ideal, had a great time.
I think the mention of the radio is to listen to a few frequencies, maybe tower during arrivals then the airshow freqs. If sitting & watching all that, may be a fine idea.
I like to travel...
I'll be on the arrival Monday morning at 0720 or so, WX looks good,(Monday).
'Third Eye Blind' is in the news right now. Maybe it will be toned down some next week??

'2 mile circle up to 10,000'?? No clue, but easy to fly around.
Some of the above are spread out a good bit. I'd be WX flexible and get as far as your departure plans allow. If you snug it up towards Oshkosh you have less distance to deal with the next day.

When I taxi by I don't see to many spectators up along the runway. I think one has to settle for a vantage point just a bit back near the rope/ribbon edge. I do think an area near the approach of...
May have to watch the fuel load too, I was planning on filling up the extra load with cases of Phillips 66 oil. That is as long as the price is $55 or less per case.
'Across from the pinup girls'? That could be a tough spot, if you want us to look your way. At least you'll have nearby traffic.
Good luck.
There are various venders that way, selling whatever. I'd think you or her could find things of interest.
I would think as close to 09/27 as pedestrians are allowed? Once there you will know, but look at the winds to get an idea of the runway in use.
If just sitting in a car I'd look at somewhere in...
Yeah, I think it depends on your planned time of arrival. I usually get there on Monday morning, South of 9/27 is all filled up then.
Likely an evening flight? As posted I'd back off from departure time with plenty of allowances for traffic, car return, and then some time in the security line.
As you drive South on 41 exit...
Great info, I keep meaning to get there myself.
Great looking plane too.
I have the time off work and will be there, early in the week.
Welcome to the USA and WI. Have a great time in Oshkosh.
Call them up, they mention a shuttle to Oshkosh.

Should be plenty of options in Western WI. I like that plan, snug it up less than an hour out, easy flight in the next morning.
If you can get from Hartford to the Fond Du Lac Airport there would be a shuttle, for some $$. I doubt there is anything from Hartford, unless you found a friend to share costs/ride.
